Brandy Flagstone Stand Up is sourced from the mountains of eastern Tennessee and hand-chiseled to an approximate thickness of 2 inches, allowing for natural variations. Unlike flat-shipped flagstone, these larger pieces—averaging 2 by 3 feet—cover more surface area, making installation on patios simpler. Each stone features a smooth surface that is perfect for patios or pool decks, providing just enough texture to ensure safe footing even when wet.

Tennessee sandstone is renowned for its workability, allowing precise cutting or breaking to fit specific dimensions. When set on a mortar bed, stand up flagstone provides long-lasting durability, yet it is also robust enough to be installed without mortar on a base of crushed stone. For dry-laid patios, crushed stone serves as a stable foundation, ensuring the stone's strength and longevity. A 4,000-pound pallet of this flagstone covers roughly 240 square feet with a 1-inch joint spacing.
